We currently have a vacancy in South Australia for an accredited pharmacist with high service standards who is enthusiastic, motivated and with a passion for making a difference, to join our team and work alongside us.
Reporting to the Clinical Operations Director, you will lead a small team to deliver quality medication review and QUM services for designated clients at aged care facilities, in the community and to GP partners in South Australia. As part of the QUM services you deliver, you will provide educational sessions, medication audits and attend MAC (Medication Advisory Committee) meetings. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing excellent professional relationships with all customers, both internal and external, and supporting the WardMM business strategy.
In addition to delivering clinical services directly to residents and staff of aged care facilities and clients living in the community, you will be given the autonomy to grow your region and role. Ward MM will support you in providing and developing additional services designed to create better health outcomes for your region. You will also be empowered to expand your network of aged care partners and GP relationships in metro and regional South Australia.

The Ward MM Clinical Excellence team (headed by the highly acclaimed Dr Chris Alderman) utilizes macro data together with the latest industry trends to provide education and research with the key focus to resolve medication issues. When working in aged care, our highly trained pharmacists work onsite with individual facilities and with GPs making sure resident care is at the forefront of everyone’s agenda. Our holistic combination of reviews, training and support materials, deliver a professional service which mitigates risk, promotes clinical best practice and ensures the highest possible care.

You will be effective at managing your time and tasks and be constantly striving to extend your knowledge and professional development.
We are offering a competitive remuneration package commensurate with skills and experience. Work arrangements are flexible part time hours (0.6 FTE) with the potential to move to full time.
