Research Analyst Clerkships



Under limited supervision from Senior Clinical Excellence and Executive Management teams, and in accordance with priorities agreed by discussion with the Director of Clinical Excellence and/or General Manager:

  • Research and draft scientific literature and papers on behalf of Ward MM, for review and approval by Director of CE or delegate, including but not limited to:

- Internal publications (e.g. clinical pearls, newsletters)

- Draft manuscripts for publication in journals

- Internal position papers

  • Develop educational products such as slide presentations for addition to the stable of Ward MM offerings
  • Develop draft research and ethics applications and study protocols


Essential criteria:

  • In progress or have completed bachelor level degree or higher in health-related discipline
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in medical literature retrieval
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other relevant software
  • Working understanding of basic statistical techniques
  • Ability to draft scientific papers and conference abstracts
