Ward MM Newsletter September 2015

2015-09-29

This month we tackle a big one: The TGA announcement in regards to risperidone use in aged care.

We also want to say thank you again to everyone who attended the Ward MM Aged Care Medication Masterclass earlier this month.  What an incredible opportunity to begin discussing medication in aged care as an industry!  I’ve included some highlights from the day below.  If you’re keen to attend the next Masterclass, please let us know and we’ll ensure you’re at the top of the invite list.

We also look forward to hopefully seeing you all at the LASA National Congress in October.  Can you guess which Key Note Presenter we’re sponsoring? (I’ll give you a clue…..we’re both all about innovation…).

Some Masterclass highlights:

        1.  Majority of attendees felt that they “Learnt heaps” from both sessions.

        2.  The event was rated an overall 4.43 out of 5 (somewhere between “Very Good” and “Absolutely

             Fantastic”)

        3.  Net promotor score 86 out of 100 (how likely people would be to suggest event to others)

        4.  Some great quotes from the day:
