Advising you on all aspects of polypharmacy including training, meeting and maintaining accreditation standards and compliance with regulatory requirements

By carefully managing your residents’ medications as well as providing training and information we help you to reduce the risks associated with polypharmacy. We do this through:

  • Providing in-service training for nursing staff, carers and/or residents
  • Providing medicines information for medical practitioners and facility staff via newsletters, product information, online resources and ad hoc information as requested or required
  • Participation in MAC meetings
  • Assisting in the development of nurse-initiated medication lists
  • Participating in medication management policy and procedure development
  • Assisting you to meet and maintain medication management accreditation standards as well as comply with regulatory requirements
  • Helping you with the development of and reporting on quality indicators and other quality measures
  • Audit and reporting activities
